🌟 December 28th: Still Worthy of Wonder
Scripture:
"Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart."
—Luke 2:19 (NIV)
Reflection:
Three days after Christmas, the world may feel like it’s already moved on. The sparkle dims. The pace quickens. But Mary didn’t rush. She pondered. She treasured. She held the miracle close.
Today invites us to do the same.
The birth of Christ wasn’t a one-day event—it was the beginning of a lifetime of presence. The shepherds returned to their flocks. The angels quieted. But Mary stayed in the stillness, letting the wonder settle deep.
You don’t have to chase the next thing. You can linger. You can treasure. You can let the miracle echo through your ordinary.
Comfort Thought:
God’s presence is not confined to the holy night—it continues in the quiet morning. The miracle is still unfolding. The wonder is still worthy.
Legacy Prompt:
Take five minutes today to sit in stillness. Write down one thing God has shown you this season. Not the loudest moment—but the one that lingers. Let it become part of your testimony, your outreach, your creative offering.
Prayer:
Lord, help me treasure Your presence like Mary did. Slow my heart. Quiet my mind. Let me carry the wonder of Christmas into every ordinary day. May Your love continue to unfold in me, and through me. Amen.
