🍂 As We Say Goodbye to November
November has been a month of remembering, of gathering, of giving thanks. It held space for grief and gratitude, for legacy and letting go. And now, as we prepare to step into December, we pause — not just to mark the calendar, but to honor the journey.
“You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance.” — Psalm 65:11
God doesn’t just meet us in beginnings. He walks with us through the middle and the messy. And He gently ushers us into what’s next — not with pressure, but with promise.
🧡 A Month of Memory
November may have stirred old stories — of loved ones, of quiet blessings, of sacred ache. Let’s carry those memories forward, not as burdens, but as seeds of legacy.
🧡 A Month of Gratitude
Even if the month was hard, even if the table felt emptier than expected — gratitude still found a way to rise. In the breath, in the warmth, in the presence of God who never left.
🧡 A Month of Preparation
As we turn toward Advent, we remember: the Savior is coming. Not just into the world, but into our weariness, our waiting, our wondering. November was not wasted. It was a holy hallway.
So as we say goodbye to this month, let’s whisper thanks. Let’s release what needs releasing. And let’s open our hearts to the sacred rhythm of December — where hope is born again.

A Prayer for the Turning of the Season
Father,
Thank You for walking with me through November —
through the gratitude and the grief,
through the gatherings and the quiet places.
As I step into December,
help me carry what matters and release what no longer serves.
Let my heart be soft with memory,
steady with hope,
and open to the promise of Your presence.
You crown the year with goodness.
Let me see it.
Let me trust it.
Let me walk in it.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
